Okay, I know that when you drop your prescription off at the pharmacy, they have to run it through insurance, bottle it, etc...but sometimes I wonder if there is another reason it takes so long. I have been using our local grocery store, and when I went to the drop off window, there was no one else there besides me. My prescription was for vitamins. The man looked me up in the computer, had the bottle of vitamins in his hand, and told me it would be about 15 minutes. Fine, I thought...I have to get some hamburger buns anyway. So I headed toward the bread aisle, but HAD to walk past those noisy potato chips in the snack aisle. They yelled at me as I went by...."Hey you....yeah...you! You haven't bought any of us in a long time. Do you still love us? You've been poked and prodded at the doctor's office and deserve some kind of reward. Ya know...we do happen to be on sale...Buy one get one FREE!"
They guilted me into buying them, and after that, my guard was down, and I ended up picking up two boxes of those Nabisco 100 calorie snack packs. Lorna Doone cookies and Mr. Salty chocolate covered pretzels.
I headed back before the 15 minutes was up, and of course it had been ready for a while. It probably only took 5 minutes or less.
It was all a scheme between the pharmacist and those naughty snacks. It's a CONSPIRACY I tell you!

That is so true! But, the chips were right...you DO deserve a treat for being so good and going to the doctor. ;)
